大學一定要學英語。大學英語作為公共課，是有學分要求的，達到學分就可畢業。《全日制普通高等學校學生學籍管理辦法根據》

第四十六條 學生畢業時作全面鑒定。其內容包括德、智、體三個方面。著重點放在對政治覺悟、思想意識、道德品質以及學習、勞動態度和健康狀況等方面，作出評語。肯定成績，找出差距，明確努力方向，走又紅又專的道路。
